who let people from tumblr start writing greeting cards?
I don’t normally post what I do at my Day job, but I found this funny. Yes, I illustrated all of these. Believe it or not.
Pop-Up Lighting by Chen Bikovski
Pop-Up Lighting — inspired by pop-up books
The investigation of the pop-up world led to the creation of a series of 3 unique night-lamps. Through the moving of the tab, the lights change to reveal an image produced by a play with light and mechanics. The series includes a deer and a peacock that hang on the wall, and an owl that stands on a dresser.
See Something or Say Something
Infographic creator Eric Fisher compiled a series of images ”See Something or Say Something” which show the density of geotagged Flickr photos and Twitter tweets on large geographical areas around the world. Red/orange dots are locations of Flickr pictures. Blue dots are locations of Twitter tweets. White dots are locations that have been posted to both.

Ping Pong Pool Party by Red Paper Heart
Water isn’t known to be the greatest projection surface for obvious reasons, but if you introduce 65,000 ping pong balls into the equation you create a rather immersive interactive experience. The animations which are projected on the pools surface react and move in time with the music and the noises of the environment. Pool parties are notorious for having more people standing than swimming, so giving party goers the ability to swim through animations definitely made the pool more inviting. I’ve embedded a video below which shows the animations in action.
